In the Options screen in Settings and maintenance, you can change the name of fields and labels in SuperOffice to match your organization’s terminology. These changes apply across all available languages.

For example, you can change the label Company to Organization.

Configure label substitution

  1. Go to Settings and maintenance and select Options.

  2. Select the Labels tab.

  3. Check Enable label substitution to activate the label override feature.

Change a label

  1. In the left column, enter all or part of the label you want to change.

    • This column matches the language selected for your user.
  2. To search in another language, choose a Target language from the list on the right, and enter search text in the corresponding field.

  3. Press ENTER to update the list of results.

  4. Hover over a row to see the internal label (resource ID).

  5. Double-click a label to edit it.

  6. In the dialog, edit the label for one or more available languages.

  7. Click Save.

Reset a label to default

  1. Search for the label you want to reset.

    • Custom labels appear in bold text.
  2. Select the label in the list.

  3. Click Delete translation to remove the custom label.

    • The original label is restored in the interface.

To revert all label changes, uncheck Enable label substitution.

Note

Deleting a label translation does not remove it from the system. It is hidden. If you re-enable label substitution later, your custom translations will reappear.
