# MCP Connect

> Connect SuperOffice CRM to Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or ChatGPT as a live data source using the Model Context Protocol.

MCP Connect turns SuperOffice CRM into a live data source for Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT, connected through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). Instead of copying and pasting CRM data into an AI chat, the assistant reads directly from your tenant's own companies, contacts, sales, requests, projects, follow-ups, and documents, so its answers stay grounded in your real data.

## What it does

* No more copying stale CRM data into an AI chat, since the assistant reads straight from your live tenant.
* Works the same way across AI providers: Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT all connect through the same MCP Connect server, so you are not locked into one AI tool.
* Answers stay grounded in your own data, because every read comes from SuperOffice itself rather than from what the model remembers.

## Requirements

* Your organization must be on **[CRM Suite Plus][7]** or above to read CRM data, and on **[CRM Suite Super][7]** to update it.
* A SuperOffice user account. The first time you connect a client, you sign in and approve access through a standard login prompt. No separate API key or developer setup is needed.

## Connect a client

MCP Connect authenticates through SuperOffice OpenID Connect: the client signs in with a SuperOffice user account, and the server proxies every request through that identity.

## Read tools

These tools let the connected AI client search and read SuperOffice CRM data on your behalf. They are available with CRM Suite Plus or above.

| `search_persons`, `get_person` | Find and read contacts. |
| `search_sales`, `get_sale`, `get_sale_guide`, `list_sale_stakeholders`, `list_sales_for_stakeholder`, `list_sale_activities` | Find and read sales (opportunities), their pipeline guide, stakeholders, and activity history. |
| `search_tickets`, `search_tickets_freetext`, `get_ticket`, `get_ticket_message`, `get_ticket_metadata` | Find requests and read their conversation or bookkeeping details. |
| `search_projects`, `get_project`, `list_project_members`, `list_projects_for_member`, `list_project_activities` | Find and read projects, their members, and activity history. |
| `search_appointments`, `get_appointment` | Find and read diary follow-ups. |
| `search_documents`, `get_document_markdown`, `get_document_contents`, `list_document_templates` | Find documents, including emails and quotes, and read their contents. |
| `list_contact_activities`, `list_person_activities`, `list_user_activities` | List activity history for a company, contact, or user. |
| `list_custom_objects`, `search_custom_object_rows`, `describe_custom_object`, `get_custom_object_row` | Find and read rows in custom tables ([custom objects][8]). |
| `get_associate`, `search_external_companies`, `whoami`, `server_info` | Resolve a user's identity, search external business registries, and get server/session information. |

These tools let the connected AI client change fields on an existing record on your behalf. MCP Connect does not create new records.
