## Change status of a sale

1. Open the sale.

2. Tap **Stage** in the action bar.

3. Select one of the following options:

   * Move to next stage
   * Move to previous stage
   * Set as sold
   * Set as lost
   * Mark as stalled

   Alternatively, you can swipe left on the sale in a list, tap <i class="ph ph-list" aria-label="Main menu" />, and select a status.

### Update details for status change

When changing a sale's status, you can update additional information in the **Details** section:

1. Tap <i class="ph ph-pencil-simple" aria-label="Edit icon" /> to enter edit mode.

2. Flick to the **Details** section and add or modify the relevant fields:
   * **Reason (sold):** Specify why the sale was successful.
   * **Reason (lost):** Document why the sale did not close.
   * **Reason (stalled):** Provide details on why the sale stalled. You can also set a **Re-open date** if applicable.

3. Tap **Save** to apply the changes.

## Link to an incoming request **Not yet available**

When available, you will be able to link a sale to an **incoming request** for better traceability.

1. Go to the main **Requests** page.
2. Search for the request by name or ID.
3. Tap <i class="ph ph-pencil-simple" aria-label="Edit icon" /> to enter edit mode.
4. Flick down and tap **Sale**, then select the relevant sale.
5. Tap **Save**. The linked request will then appear in the **Requests** tab of that sale.
