# How to maintain GDPR configuration

> Guide to maintaining GDPR configuration in Zapier.

When creating new contacts in SuperOffice CRM, the following [GDPR consent fields][1] can be configured:

* Consent purpose name
* Consent source
* Consent comment
* E-Marketing subscription types (supports multiple selections, can add several subscription types)

If no value is provided for one or more of these fields, SuperOffice automatically applies the default values when the contact is created.
