Mention an associate in an internal comment on a request when you need their help or want them to know about something. The associate finds the request on the Mentions tab of the Request screen, and in the notifications panel if they have notifications for mentions turned on.
You can mention associates only in comments. Replies and forwards cannot contain mentions, even when they are internal. When you reply with an earlier message quoted, the mentions in the quoted text are ignored, so the same associates are not mentioned again.

Mention an associate in a comment

  1. Open the request.
  2. Add a comment. You can also add an internal comment from the request preview.
  3. Type @, or click in the toolbar below the comment. A list of associates opens. Type the first letters of a name to narrow the list. The list of associates that opens when you type the at sign in a comment -screenshot

  • Mentions are deleted only when you delete the whole comment.
